My sister’s babysitter couldn’t come today, so my niece came over to my house instead. My kids were excited; they love K! 
I love her, too! She is fifteen months now, and I’m continually amazed by how smart she is. She knows and says a million words, is sweet & fun, and loves everyone. She even smiles on cue when you get out your camera.
As I was watching her walk around and play with my kids, I couldn’t help but remember when she was three months old and I started watching her last year. She has changed so much since then. It’s fascinating to see babies grow up and become children, and then “real people.” It’s one of the things I love the most about having kids (and nieces). I’m thankful that I get to be a part of her life – and that she loves me.
