I think it’s hysterical to watch her trying to pick up slippery pieces of banana. She doesn’t think it’s quite so funny. She gets annoyed when she can’t get what she wants, especially because she wants it so much. But she tries hard.
I would like to know when my tiny baby turned into a big baby who is eating real food and following commands and having opinions. Seriously, where did my baby go?
It’s so much fun to watch her growing up, though. I just love it! When Tom came home from work today, she spotted him and got SO excited. She started squealing and booking it across the room to see him, then later added “Da-ee! Da-ee!” (She loves him, in case you can’t tell!) We are still working on “Mommy,” but I think she is close. She even said “Emmmm” for my sister on Sunday.
Have I mentioned that I just love her to pieces?? Even in the middle of the night when she decides that it is time to play. Yes, even then.
