My mom’s birthday was this week! Happy birthday, Mom! 
Yesterday we brought Thai food to my parents’ house for dinner, gave my mom birthday presents, ate cupcakes, watched the USA 4-man bobsled team win gold, and enjoyed talking about everything. Tom and I put the girls to bed before the cupcakes, so J got to eat hers today.
When we pulled into our driveway at midnight last night, I realized that we hadn’t gotten the mail during the day. I also spotted J’s sled in our garage, so in a split second I decided to drag her around the yard and stop to get the mail on the way. We had a blast. I’m not sure what my neighbors would have thought if any of them had been awake, though…
