So it begins
I just noticed J walking around with a bottle of hand sanitizer I had gotten at Target. When I had gotten the bottle a few weeks ago, I discovered it was defective. No matter how hard I had tried, I couldn’t get the pump to work. I even asked Tom to fix it, and he couldn’t. (Shocking! He’s an engineer…he fixes everything!) I finally resorted to unscrewing the pump and pouring the sanitizer into a smaller bottle that I keep in my purse.
“Can I have some sanitizer, Mommy?” J asked.
“Well, unless you’re smarter than Mommy AND Daddy, you probably won’t be able to get any out. But you can try.” I kept working on dinner.
She was quiet for a minute and then came around the corner, rubbing her hands together. “I have sanitizer on my hands!” she proclaimed.
I smiled to myself, assuming that she was pretending she had gotten the sanitizer out. But I went to check, and sure enough, her hands were wet. I checked the bottle. The pump worked! I pumped some out on my own hands to test it.
I guess maybe she IS smarter than Mommy and Daddy?!

Is this surprising to anyone? The combined genius of you plus Tom… Your girls are going to be ultra geniuses.
lol
this is awesome

she’s going to be super smart!!!
How about Jordyn the engineer? I love it! Never underestimate the power of a child who does not expect to fail!
